I started playing guitar when I was 8, but I wasn't really that interested in playing music until I was 13. That's when I spent a week at 'Rock Camp' which made me really love playing guitar. In that week at Rock Camp I learned to play in a band and to write my own music, as well as learning a bit about the different kind of amps you can use. 

After that I was hooked. I bought my first pedal and my parents got me a new Marshall amp. Over the years I've become more interested in all the different gear that you can buy. I've collected more pedals than I need, and quite a few amps as well. I just find it really interesting so see what gear works the best with other gear. If you change one pedal on your board then you can change you whole sound. That's what I love about guitar gear, you can use it to completely shape the kind of sound you want, and the kind of guitarist that you are.
